One of the most popular questions I get asked about being in Hi-5 is…
“Being in Hi-5 means you are often around children, what is it like to be around children a lot?”
Hanging out with children is one of the most fun things an adult can do. Children are all about discovery and play…
Imagine an adult you know, now imagine them discovering the world for the first time, everything new and exciting.
Now imagine the adult not caring at all what other people think of him/her, no matter what anyone says to …

The last few days I have spent in the Australian Bush. I spent my days with Lorikeets and Lizards, evenings with Kangaroo’s and Wallabies, nights with Possums and Wombats and my bush walks with the timid but incredibly creative Lyre Birds.
All animals that make up the symbols and titles of many Australian bank notes, Sports Teams and National Emblems.
I am sure it is the same in your country no matter where you are in the world. Your countries native animals are symbols of nationalism and pride, I feel we must …

To be a buzzy Bumble Bee,
Is for sure a busy life.
Buzzing around the flowers
then resting well at night.
The flowers often state this phrase,
“Those Bumble Bees are lazy.
Workers Bee’s  help every flower,
While the bumbles stick to daisies.”
Why don’t those flowers realise,
That Bumbles work very hard.
I know that we are big and slow,
But we pollinate your yard.
Those worker Bees spend time making honey,
And listening to their queen.
Whilst we finish off the daisy flowers,
Then move to the vege greens.
We bumble through the vege patch
helping carrots, peas and beans
But the garden flowers don’t reside …

It was a great feeling to watch the first Hi-5 episode today, I felt proud for all involved.
The episode was a …

Hello to all.
Most of you may have already seen the video’s of my live Ustream songs that are now up on my ‘Live Video’s’ Page.
In this post I would just like to say how much fun I have had writing these songs and singing them for you all. Before Hi-5 I was constantly writing songs and in the last few days playing this sort of ‘ustream game’ has made me realise how much I have missed writing songs.
As you can probably tell from some of my previous posts I love …

I guess I may have taken it for granted. I mean, if I ever drove into a river and the car started sinking it would probably save my life.
It helps me when ordering food at a drive through, it helps when collecting your ticket at a parking building and it is a blessing when the car air-condititioning dies on a really hot Australian summers day.
But what is this useful contraption called?
I am on holidays at the moment and I have been doing a bit of driving, today was no exception. …

I have been in a very inquisitive mood tonight and look what I have found, this world is truly diverse. Just Awesome…
‘Dalmatians are born without spots.’
‘Snails can live up to 15 years.’
‘A slug has four noses.’
What about this one fellow computer users…
‘The average computer user blinks 7 times a minute, less than half the normal rate of 20.’

I have played musical instruments since I was about seven years old. I
started on the piano, then when I was thirteen also started learning
to play the trumpet and after realising that a loud trumpet and a big
bulky piano aren’t the easiest instruments to play, when living in
tiny apartments and constantly moving around. I decided to take up the
guitar, I bought a cheap one to learn on, soon I learnt to
play, it was fun but never an escape and then a few months ago I
bought myself a beautiful Maton guitar.
I felt …

When I asked for advice one day my Aunty told me a story she was once told.
There was once a frog and a scorpion and they needed to get to the other side of a large river.
The frog could swim easily across but the scorpion would drown if he attempted it alone.
So he asked the Mr Frog.
“Mr Frog, Mr Frog will you please help me across the river?”
To which Mr Frog replied
“No Mr Scorpion, I have been warned about you, you will sting me and to the bottom of the …

This is something I worked out a few years ago and it always makes me laugh watching people try to accomplish this seemingly simple task.
Ok, when you watch a movie that has been put on by the company Universal Pictures, before the movie even starts you will see a massive image of the earth, then the music to the Universal Pictures musical theme will begin.
Once you hear the musical theme you will know it, I guarantee it.
It goes…(This is my confident attempt at writing music in text!)
Da-da-daaa, daaa-da-da-da-da-daaa, BOOM! BOOM!
Then …
