Yesterday all of us Hi-5 ‘ers landed in Singapore once agin. I always have fun here, the food is off the hook so is the shopping but there is also something very special about this country.
Special in the way that there wouldn’t be many places in the world where such a melting pot of cultures collide in such a small geographical place.
Not surprising I guess, given it’s place on the world map but also it’s constant history of international trade.
That’s not to say that we don’t have enough cultural …

QUEENSLAND FLOOD DISASTER

A lot of people have been asking me what it was like to visit the evacuation centres in and around Brisbane on Sunday.
Every time I get asked that I think… “Where could I possibly start?”
Our day was a busy one, we flew up from Sydney, visited three Evac (evacuation) centres and then were back in Sydney by 8:00pm that night.

As you are probably well aware the state of Queensland in has been hit by massive flooding over the past weeks.

As most of you may already know I am part of a very successful childrens entertainment group called Hi-5. In this job I get to meet thousands upon thousands of children.
This is a great honour for me in very many ways and one I will never take for granted.
In doing this job I am often asked this question.
‘How do you keep happy all day?’
Well, if you understood just a fraction of the happiness children receive when we do our job with enjoyment you would be too.
I have had a few …

So, the 2010 Soccer World Cup is almost upon us.
Australia’s first game on Sunday night and is going to be broadcast at 4:30AM in Australia. But you know what, I will be watching it.
Why?
Well, there is something about a sporting event this size. I find this ‘something’ with the Olympics and also with the Soccer World Cup.
What is it that on the eve of the working week, thousands upon thousands of people will be watching 22 dudes kick a round ball around a piece of well groomed turf in the …
